This home, designed by MSA Architecture + Interiors in San Antonio, is perched atop a hill overlooking Medina Lake. These lovely homeowners will enjoy  out-of-this-world views of both the lake and the surrounding Hill Country. This special project was designed absorb the drama of its surroundings and echo them on the interiors. A custom oversized fireplace greets visitors upon entry, and warms the home’s guests from all sides. Its intimidating size is the anchor of this home and was inspired and designed by a fireplace in the home of the client’s grandmother. Looking up, guests will see mortise and tendon trusses, designed as a collaboration between the clients and their architects. The open floor plan and grand spaces make this one-of-a-kind home as unique upon the land that it sits.
