Amy Henderson

Pre-Construction &
Project Coordinator

With a degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University and more than 20 years of residential design and project management experience, Amy brings both technical expertise and creative vision to every custom home at Garner Homes.

Amy plays a central role in guiding clients from schematic design through completion, ensuring that every detail reflects their lifestyle, whether that means accommodating grandchildren, pets or a passion for entertaining. She is known for asking the right questions, uncovering how clients want to live in their home and translating those insights into thoughtful design and execution.

Her role requires a unique balance of creativity and precision. From reviewing bids and vetting materials to walking job sites and coordinating with construction managers and subcontractors, Amy ensures design intent is carried seamlessly into reality. She acts as a filter between inspiration and execution, distilling countless ideas, managing information flow and streamlining communication so clients feel confident and supported at every stage.

Beyond her work with homeowners, Amy is passionate about mentoring the next generation of professionals. She collaborates with the Architectural Design program at Champion High School, offering students valuable practicum experience in residential project management.

Amy and her husband, Gus, live in Cordillera Ranch with their three children—Charles, Emma, and William. Clients and colleagues alike value her attention to detail, her proactive problem-solving, and her ability to make the homebuilding journey not only successful, but truly enjoyable.
